Anime Crusaders Game Modes

Story unlocks the game. Infinite pays. Raids and portals hand out the units the tier list actually wants.

Game Modes Walkthrough

The lobby Time Machine and mode doors look louder than they are. You only need to know what each mode pays and when you are allowed to enter it. This walkthrough is that map. For a first-hour path, stay on how to play. For Gem math, stay on farm Gems.

Story

Story is the campaign. Worlds unlock in order. Early community names still include Planet Navic, then later towns and soul-society style maps as collabs arrived. Play Story to raise account level, unlock code gates, and learn Ground versus Hill. Star a stage if the mode tracks stars; first-clear bonuses are the point, not infinite looping.

If a Story boss leaks, you do not need a Secret. You need air coverage or a stun support from best support.

Infinite

Infinite is the endurance farm. Waves escalate until you leak. Your score and payout scale with how long you hold. Bring a farm unit. Bring one unit that can hit flyers. Leave when the board is about to die if the mode lets you cash out; otherwise treat the last leak as the tax.

Raids

Raids drop Secret and event units. Starrk, Gilgamesh, Karakuri, and Zero-style raid Secrets in older patches all came from this door, not from the Gem banner. Read the week’s raid note on events so you farm the right ticket. A raid you cannot clear is a Gem sink. Build the team first.

Boss Rush

Boss Rush is a rotating gauntlet. It has paid out Secrets such as Maki in past seasons and restocks on a biweekly-style clock. Codes sometimes include Boss Rush tokens. Spend those tokens on the current restock, not on a dead week.

Portals

Portals are targeted hunts. Yamamoto-style portal Secrets and limited portal bosses sit here. If a portal lists a level gate, it means it. Bring the element or placement the portal description asks for. Random DPS does not beat a mechanic check.

Trading

Trading opened in a numbered update and came with its own apology codes. Trade duplicates of keepers, not your only evolved carry. Scams exist because this is Roblox. Confirm the room, confirm the unit name including evo tag, and do not take “trust trades.”

Tournaments and leaderboards

Tournament Mythics and leaderboard units such as Psyki are not banner pity. Play the event window or ignore them. Do not break a Gem budget chasing a unit that is not on the current board.

How to pick tonight’s door

  • Need level or a code gate: Story.
  • Need Gems: Infinite.
  • Need a Secret item: Raid, Rush, or Portal as posted.
  • Need stones: Challenges (see evolve).
  • Need a social dump: Trading, after you own extras.

Check changelog after every numbered update. 32x has added entire doors in a single patch. The Anime Crusaders X page covers the sequel teaser so you do not confuse that project with a new lobby door in this game.

Party and server habits

Anime Crusaders runs on shared Roblox servers. That is online play, not a couch split-screen. A friend can cover Hill while you hold Ground. A stranger can also sell the farm tile you needed. If the lobby is chaotic, start a smaller server or a private with people who read placement.

Trading rooms deserve a second look at the evo tag. Base Ayzen is not Ayzen (Perfect). Confirm the trait if the price assumes Crusader. Leave if someone asks you to go first on a “trust trade.”

Mode unlock anxiety

You will see doors you cannot enter. That is a level or ticket gate, not a broken client. Push Story. The Time Machine list is the legal order. Guides that skip straight to a Level 40 portal are writing for a different account than yours.

After you clear a new door once, write it on the progress checklist so you do not forget it exists next week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which mode should I play after codes?

Story until level gates open, then Infinite for Gems. Raids wait until your board can clear them.

Where do Secret units come from?

Banners for some, raids, portals, Boss Rush, and tournaments for others. Read the unit’s acquire line before you spend pity.

Is trading required?

No. It is a duplicate sink. Never trade your only evolved carry.
