Tier List

Best Support in Anime Crusaders

A farm unit and one buffer raise every DPS you own. A fourth aura does not.

Best Support Units

Support is the role people skip because it does not show on a damage meter. Then they wonder why Infinite dies when upgrades stall. This page ranks farm, buff, and control units. Damage names stay on best DPS.

Farm and economy

Speedcart (and Speedwagon-style farm units in older writeups) still define Infinite income. Place the farm first, on a tile that will not be sold when you panic. If you do not own Speedcart, any dedicated money unit beats a third DPS. Lloyd-style economy units from community beginner guides fill the same job.

Buffers

Ai (Idol) is the cheap aura people should actually place. Hesia (Sacred Flame) and Useless Goddess cover maps that want a second buff more than a second carry. Zero (True Emperor) is the premium commander-style support if you own the raid evo.

Do not stack four overlapping buffs on one clump. Auras have a range. Read it.

Control

Stuns and freezes win leaky maps. Grey (Ice Mage), Ukia-style freeze, Shanks-style Haki stun, and Goju-style stun from older boards still matter when a boss walks through your DPS. Kurimi (Time Queen) and Yorinchi (Flash) blur the line between control and damage; place them as the role your board lacks.

Seraph (Fallen) and Rio are budget control when you cannot afford the premium names.

Hybrid supports

Sun God vs Dragon and Ayzen (Perfect) appear on both this page and the DPS page because they buff while they kill. Count them as one slot, not two roles. The tier list hub lists them under Hybrid for that reason.

Placement rules for supports

Farm units want a safe back tile. Buffers want to touch both carries. Control wants the choke, not the spawn. Placement is the longer version of that sentence.

Evolve supports only if the evo is the aura. A cosmetic evo on a farm unit can wait. Spend Divine Tokens on DPS first unless the farm unit is your entire Infinite plan; then a cooldown trait on the farm unit is correct. See traits.

Build the rest of the board with best teams and team slots. A support-only board is a screenshot, not a clear.

Aura stacking myths

Two small auras that do not overlap do nothing. One aura that touches both carries does the job. Measure with your eyes, not with a third support you saw in a raid clear video filmed on a different map.

Farm units that also deal damage tempt people to treat them as DPS. Then Infinite income dies. If the card’s first job is money, keep it on money. Put Crusader on the real carry. That rule is also on traits.

When a patch adds a support that looks like a carry, re-read the card. Hybrid supports are why best teams talks about jobs instead of models.

One farm is a job

Two farms on a short Story map steal a DPS tile. One farm on a long Infinite is the reason upgrades exist. If the card prints money, keep it printing. Do not “test its damage” by starving the carry.

Stun supports earn a slot when a boss or a dense portal ignores raw DPS. They do not earn a slot on Planet Navic. Swap them in from the team slots grid when the ticket asks.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do I need a farm unit in Story?

On early worlds, no. On Infinite and long Story elites, yes. Place one before a third DPS.

Is Ai still worth placing?

Yes. Cheap aura, low opportunity cost. Replace it only when a premium buffer occupies the same range better.

Should supports get Crusader?

Usually no. Give Crusader to DPS. Farm units want economy or cooldown traits.

Can I run zero supports?

On early Story, sometimes. On Infinite, you will feel the missing Yen by the mid spike.
